God cares about us and shows His compassion! Agapa is a self-sacrificing kind of love

While we were wicked, depraved sinners Christ died for us.

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Absolutely nothing will separate us from the love of God! Read Romans 8:31-39.

God saved us. No matter the sin – God loves me!

“For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit.” Titus 3:3-5

Application to various life situations

No matter the sin or situation – God loves me!   Relish in this truth if you are a child of God.  There is nothing you can do to have God love you more and there is nothing you can do to have God love you less.

• Usually God’s love is not doubted when life is going the way we want.
• Most often God’s love is doubted when life is going differently that what we want from it.
